Karcher K2 water pressure is really low - is it fixable?

Hi, I've just inherited a Karcher K2 and the water pressure is really low - I can hold my hand right to it and not really feel an awful lot... in fact the pressure from the regular Hozelock nozzle is more than from the pressure washer.

Is there anything I should check to try to fix it please? I've unscrewed the black connector on the inlet and cleaned out the white filter which didn't make a difference. The water pressure into the pressure washer itself isn't amazing but it's not bad either - like I said the Hozelock nozzle pressure isn't bad, and I used my dad's (petrol) pressure washer recently with the same water hose and supply and it worked brilliantly.

Thanks :)

Have you adjusted the nozzle to increase the pressure or does it have a power selector on the handle?

Most of the basic nozzles that come with the machines when new have a twist end - one for low pressure and one for high. Twist the end to see whether you're set to low.

Take the wand and hose from the m/c so you just have the connector, switch on, what’s the pressure coming out..?, good, .? If it is, then it’s the wand/hose, if not, then , providing the pressure going in is ok, then it’s something inside, I had an older karcher, that froze in winter and broke a part inside ( can’t remember what) , but I got a replacement from e spares I think...have a look on the tube, I’m sure something will be on there...

Thanks so much guys, and sorry for the late reply - I have checked the nozzle to adjust the power and it doesn't seem to do a lot (it effects the spray pattern but it still has zero pressure). I'll try taking out the wand and hose too and see how it works without those, great shout - thanks again

Here's a really silly suggestion - it's definitely got power / is turned on? i.e. is it making a racket? You'll still get a dribble out with it turned off.
