Hi All
I believe its a balance transfer CC I need but I just want to check that I'm right. I plan on purchasing a puppy which will likely be bought via bank transfer. Am I right in thinking I'd be able to do this via a balance transfer CC?

No, balance transfer credit cards allow you to transfer a balance from another credit card onto them. If you have to pay for the puppy via bank transfer then you can not do this using a credit card.1

Matt sorry to quote you but is it a Money transfer CC I need instead to put the money into my account and then pay from there as these seem to have lower Apr than a bank loanMattMattMattUK said:No, balance transfer credit cards allow you to transfer a balance from another credit card onto them. A money transfer card puts money into your account (for a fee) which you pay off usually (ideally) at 0% over a period. This will allow you to pay for the item you want via BACS yes. It doesn't offer any sort of protections though so ensure you have pet insurance arranged in advance and be aware of the period you cannot claim in.Divinity said:
