Public Right of Way (PROW) Advice

Hi all,
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Currently buying a new build which unfortunately has a PROW running through the land and in the process of this being extinguished. This obviously requires a lot of back and forth between the developer and local authority to agree to an amicable solution. Just wondered if anybody had been through or knew of anyone going through a similar process and could shed some light on how long these things take?
I know that this will be affected by details specific to our case but our conveyancer so far has been unable to provide a timescale and just looking for a rough idea so we can plan things over the coming weeks/months!
Many thanks.

Easier for everybody if you just continue your previous thread about the same thing, rather than start a new one:
