Sadly he has passed recently, can I claim on our life insurance?

The best people to ask will be the insurer. It may depend: I don't know. You say 'my ex', but is that ex-spouse? If yes, were you formally divorced?Signature removed for peace of mind1

Thankyou, I has read all that we took out life insurance 40 years ago and just kept paying the premiums, sadly he passed last week also with a pension both under pension age so need to deal with that too we both owned the house x0
