Hi all,
Just thought I'd post a good ending to a stressful parking notice.
Long story short misses got a notice from ECP from Roaring Meg Stevenage, this notice wasn't the first notification but the second maybe third, she tried their appeal contact details and obviously got no reply.
Instead has been hounded by letters demanding payment and final notice before debt collectors involved. Very stressful for her, I was lucky and back from being away with work and saw these letters and told her not to bother trying to contact them anymore or pay anything.
Again she was very stressed by these letters and demands, I searched web and found this very common, including this forum section, from here we did following
Emailed landowner ie retail owner and explained situation along with fact she'd spent a fortune in the retail park ect.
Thankfully the response from retail company was very good and they straight away said they would get it removed and fixed for us.
Just a good ending to a horrible situation which she'd of 100% of paid due to these scumbags.
Hopefully others dealing with ECP see this and this help reassure you to keep resisting them.

Nice one, and thanks for letting us know - we deal with so much of this stuff and positive outcomes really do help us to stay motivated. Well done! 🥂
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hopefully retail park actually does this and your wife receives official word from EPC to confirm cancellation.

If there is a feedback page/Facebook page or website write it up on it Complaints about parking might persuade the landowner to reconsider the presence of a scammer on their land.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
If you could post up the address of the retail park and the name of the landowner please ... it may then help others.well doneRalph1
