TopCashback ripped me off twice now on larger transactions

  • Twice they have failed to pay around £30 on large insurance purchases despite me following their rules. The second one was pending for ages telling me I had to wait, and now I can't even raise a ticket  as it's over 100 days. There is now no way of complaining that I can find.  Strange how all my smaller non insurance purchases have been successful. This outfit is a con, do NOT base your purchasing decisions on large cashback.
It isn't a con, I've used them and claimed a lot of money. But yes, a lot do not go through. I'm still waiting for £27 from July 2018 and £8.40 from Jan 2019. Both have tickets but keep telling me they're waiting for the retailer. That said, I've been paid from about 40 other purchases. And I had another one from 2018 that they paid 50% from recently because the retailer was messing a lot of their customers around, refused to pay out and they also banned the retailer from their site. I think they try to do their best, but they need tougher rules for their clients (the online retailers) to follow. They also need to improve their 'missing cashback' process as you wait far too long to hear back from staff for an update.

I even go so far as shopping around on the laptop and only when I am ready to purchase via topcashback, I then go on the desktop PC which will be clean of cookies from the shopping around, testing codes, quotes whatever. I make the purchase direct on that PC. Works for me nearly 2 grand in cashback so far.

I have used Top Cash a lot and have received about £1,000 back. In my experience they have always played fair. They may be many things but definitely not con merchants.
