Sister Act theatre tickets - booking fee refund

Hi all,

I purchased tickets for the new production of sister act starring Whoopi Goldberg a couple of years ago. With the pandemic it was pushed back twice before they announced it would be taking place next summer but without Miss Goldberg. Good enough they have offered a refund if you want it, but I’ve noticed that the refund is without the £14 booking and transaction/delivery fee - they have just refunded the face value of the ticket. Is there anything I can do to to also reclaim this back? Or is it gone because the event is technically still going ahead?

Thanks,
David

They are allowed to keep back that element of the deposit that covers costs incurred.
  • Gosh, I didn’t even notice they didn’t refund the booking fee! I was just thrilled to have the option of my money back.

A shame (but zero surprise) that Whoopi had to pull out of the 2022 rescheduled shows...

Can I just ask how long it took for your refunds to come through please?  I filled out an online form requesting a refund with Eventin a week ago.  Maybe I am too eager. Thanks Amanda
  • Has anyone managed to get a refund yet? I completed the online box office form for a refund back in august
