Redemption statement holding things up?

Hi all, was supposed to exchange today and complete monday. Ftb buying an empty property. My solicitor emailed today asking vendors solicitor if they could simultaneously exchange complete monday, their solicitor has said they are still waiting on the redemption statement but hope itll be in monday... is it still possible completion can happen Monday if the statement arrives or is it likely to be delayed regardless?

    Perfectly possible and normal for redemption statements to appear on the day of completion.
