Virgin has been a decent all rounder for me in past year or so with this a/c and interest on current a/c first £1000 and 1% fixed ISA, at least there's 2 months notice of the drop

I got the e-mail too, even though I don’t have an Instant Saver with Virgin, I only have the current account.
Might only be a matter of time before the current account interest rate drops too.0 -

Anyone know if the associated instant savers can be closed independently of the current accounts?I track all open accounts in a spreadsheet and it's annoying to have zero balance account clutter.

- Keep your existing account - if you’re happy to leave your savings where they are, you don’t need to do a thing.
- Move your money to another account - want to move your money into a separate savings account? Check out our current range at: virginmoney.com/savings
- Close your account - if you want to move your money we’d be sorry to see you go, but you can close your account straightaway with no charge. You can do this by writing to us or visiting a Store.
