Samsung Galaxy A7

I bought a samsung A7 the screen keeps going black and then it comes up with the sign in again, does anyone know if this is a fault or if its to do with the settings,? I have looked but cannot see anything relevant in the settings menu. Any ideas please. I am not a techie so funbling a bit in the dark. I manage to sort most things but this has me foxed.

It's rebooting for some reason

First thing to do would be to go into the phones settings and do a factory restore on it

That will eliminate any software corruption or dodgy apps at start up.

If it continues after that then it's likely to be hardware related and a warranty claim

I did a factory reset, it was just as bad . I got the paper work out and found I could return the tablet as I had not had it 30 days, so rang and indeed the tablet is being collected and a new one delivered at the same time. I got a message later to say the replacement tablet was out of stock, so they are sending me a more expensive model at no extra cost. no quibble all sorted with a phone call.
