Some (more) advice please?

So i found out a bit more about why this solicitor is being so difficult - basically they won't look at a file until they know they hav everything. So although they have had the answers for my buyer for over a week - they won't send a response until the get an "ok" answer from my seller. Literally won't even send a thing unless they are doing it all at once. 
Now I understand for efficiency that makes sense in a normal situation - but when you have a buyer who is threatening to pull out if he does get the reply his solicitor needs AND the person who is paying you for a service makes a specific request for something I think that should be honoured.
I had to call my buyer over the weekend and pretty much beg him to stay patient just because my solicitor won't just send one email.
