Hi all
I currently use LastPass (the free version) my (Android) phone and two PCs.
I had an email from them the other day stating it can only be used on one device-type from some time in March.
I like the fact that it can be across various platfroms but don't want to pay for it.
Can anyone recommend a different password keeper/generator that can be used in the way I use LastPass now (prefereably free)?
TIA
Richard

You will get many different opinions, but I moved over to BitWarden.

I'd second BitWarden.
Either free or $10 a year for all the premium features. As a company they are committed to open source so well worth supporting.

Yep, moved my stuff over from LastPass to Bitwarden. Seems to work fine but haven't yet had the courage to delete LastPass completely.

After looking around I've also moved over to BitWarden - the free version does more or less everything that the free version of LastPass does. I do miss being able to auto-fill directly in password forms (by clicking the small LastPass icon in the form, as opposed to now having to click the BitWarden icon on the menu bar every time) but that's a very minor thing. I also appreciate the fact that it is open source.0

Click on Settings then Options and tick the box labelled 'enable auto-fill...'. It's marked as experimental but seems to work with most of my sites
