She did, thanks @Porridgecat - my ideal birthday is just being left alone in the garden with a radio, but that doesn't really cut it for an 18th and 19th birthdays!

Shopping under £100 today (win!), Nectar points at £44.53, but I haven't done any surveys this week as work was too busy.
Pond filled with saved rain water, bt £16 spent on plants.

Morning All, new week, new money saving opportunities! Waiting for payday, March seems like a very long month!
So, back to no wine this week - last week wasn't a good one on that front between DD's birthday and the sudden and very unexpected bad news.
Anyway, Nectar canvass survey this morning (dog food), and I'm determined to do at least one a day, and to remind DH about his WFH tax rebate.

Sorry to hear about your bad news 🙁 Sometimes wine is the only answer, no shame in that x

Agreed March seems very long, I got paid early last month as it fell on a weekend and now have to stick it out until 31/03 😮!

    Morning All.
Getting cross with surveys - this morning,
Q: "Does your job involve programming or coding?"
    A: "No"
Q: "How many hours a week do you spend coding or programming?"
    A: "0"
Q: "Not a valid response, must be more than 1."
A: "Go away and learn how to write surveys, grrrr." close tab.
Anyway, got 40 points for telling them I like gin, Nectar total for the year so far (aka Christmas food fund), £45.73.
    Had a very spendy day yesterday;
£104 spent on lawn edging, (but should save hours of my life)
£27 on dry cat food (will have to spend at least double that today on pouches, but that will be 2-3 months worth),
£46 on water plants (set up cost for pond, and won't need any more).

Debating what to do next month re. OP/S&S ISA balance.

    Morning All.
DD's new job is going well, it's only 10 hours a week, but it's really given her a boost after a grim year. Even bigger bonus for me, she got her paperwork done in time to be paid in April rather than having to wait until May!
Only a week of term left, and then I have 10 days leave - extra long dogs walks and lots of gardening without guilt, can't wait.

    10! I keep winning 5, but never as many as 10 🙁!

I've been doing some shopping for BF over the last few weeks as he's not been able to drive - annoyingly, all my offers are now for things he buys instead of the things I need 🤦‍♀️!

Hello! Just found your diary, most cheerful 😊😊 looks like you're doing excellent work, and DH is as well by the sounds of it- brilliant!

I think I had a similar survey re coding... or something like it - oh, company using cloud based apps for goal setting - I'd said we used cloud based apps (it had listed Google drive as an option), but then wouldn't let me select 0% used for goal setting 🙄 I was in hot pursuit of the pennies, so I just said 1%, and if their results are inaccurate they should have done a better job of writing their survey!

My Nectar app kept crashing, but I've had a new phone this week, so will have to see if it's working better now. You've reminded me i saw something from Morrisons about them switching to vouchers rather than points - must see if I can extract mine before they become obsolete!
