How to tell what TV wall bracket with the drill holes?

Just moved into a property and the previous owners have had a wall mounted TV. They've taken the bracket but the holes remain. Rather than drill new holes I'd like to just get the same bracket (I have asked but the estate agents have said they've not heard back). Is there any way to tell what bracket it was using the holes as a guide?

Hi,if you have photie of tv on wall from house photies, perhaps you could get an idea of tv make and size and then search for bracket.2

This one here looks to have a similar hole spacing

hope this helps

First of all you need to measure the gap between the top row and bottom row of holes.
Secondly you need to know the size and weight of your TV as there is no point getting the same mount if its designed for a TV half the size of yours.
There are plenty of mounts that have highly flexible horizontal spacing for bolts but are more constrained on ensuring the vertical gap is right.1 -
Measuring the hole spacings would be a good start. The central top hole isn't in the centre suggesting slotted holes in the bracket.

You may have a different TV size, and ideally you'd want to mount it at the right height. Filling and drilling is only 10 minutes work, so it would likely be much, much easier to go that route.1

that looks like brick effect paper what is behind that and beyond that, anything decent to fix to?
(If you are stripping back that wall and making good is it that much effort to do these holes and start where you really want the TV)
Those holes could be repurposed with decent anchors that hold up just about any TV you can buy theses days unless you are cantilevering out a big TV
(There are some seriously heavy Plasma about but most modern TV even 65" are <25kg)
Many brackets are quite flexible on hole placing but as it is going the be behind a TV what I would consider is using those existing holes to fix a Plate that anything could be fixed to and that give some flexibility to offset the position of a bracket on that.
The plate could be a sheet of ply or metal and have mounting put into that so they are flush on the back and a bracket bolted on from the front.
If you just want a flush to wall mount then check the 3 top holes for something like this
( or bolt a length of 18mm X 44mm using those holes and fix the bracket to that.
