    Yes, I agree, sheer chicainery.

Personally, I won't order ever again from Marshall Ward.

However, my friend trawled the'net' and found a site in Germany with loads of wii plays for under £40 delivered. Ordered it and it arrived 2 days later.....

By the way - Nintendo wii's themselves ?

Loads at Carrefour in Calais (£1 per person on the ferry or £25ish on the Eurotunnel - they do say only 1 per customer, but just put it in your trolly, pay, go out the store, back in again... and ask for another wii !!

And it was worthwhile even travelling from the Nottingham area.

Pity they can't sort out the carpark they call the M25 though.............:p
  • I called them to cancel my order, and the lady said the system "wouldn't allow it" and I should just reject the delivery! In April!

I think I'll call again later and see if I'm more successful

dont know why you're so angry to be honest. same happened to me. they apologised and arranged a refund. we all know there are shortages.... i dont see the problem.
I can as he/she ordered nice and early to be sure to get it and as has not been looking for one because they took money & confirmed and now it is too late as chance of getting one at this short notice is incredibly slim unless you pay a fortune on ebay.
So i can see why she is mad.
  • Well im goin mad because i hate being tricked like this, they took money i was sure im sorted, now i had to call them and cancel it which ive done and guy said he will put that thru should have money in 3 days but as someone above said about the lady reply that system doesnt allowed it. well obvious isnt it? they got to many cancelations and what can u do then? youve all being done nicely...Annoying. If i aint gonna get money back there is no way im waiting for that. How can they treat customers like this?

The problem is i aint got time to run around the shops or spending days in front of the computer. They didnt deliver the service ive paid for. If u cant do somethin dont say u can cause after u look twice that bad.
  • surely if you paid by credit card you can get something done throu them, as far as i am aware they are not ment to take the money if the stock isnt in!!i would contact the card company if thats how you paid!
  • All from the same group of companies and all absolutely pathetic.

Orderded wii consoles from Kay's and Littlewoods at the start of Nov with a guaranteed date of delivery of 26th Nov. Checked the night before online only to find that they had moved delivery to 31st March 2008 without any contact from them.

Will not order from that group of companies again.
