PRC certificate

Good Evening folks, I hope you're all doing well given the circumstances we face.
We are currently in the process of buying our council house & may have to obtain a PRC inspection certificate to provide to the bank.. My question is, Where do I even find somebody that does those kind of surveys? as I haven't had much looking searching the web.

The house used to be a concrete slab house but was bricked over by the council 25 years ago & according to the council they had no obligation to have the work inspected or certified by the appropriate personal.

Many Thanks

James

  • The bank willhave been advised by their surveyor, so ask the surveyor (via the bank) for a name - if indeed it's required. You seem unsure.

type PRC in to google and there are companies who are certified who can do the work for you. depending on the build type the work can take up to 8weeks by the looks of it [i saw this while i looked to find the answer to my own question]
when it was done on our house i recall it took a month, it was years ago and the seller paid for it. but i hope that helps.
