Deeds of variation

I am selling my shared ownership flat and its leasehold. I have been waiting 4 months along the sale and 10 days ago I  was told that I would have to pay 780 inc vat (which I done) or else I would have to get a cash buyer. This is because of Deeds of variation. How much longer do I have to wait because Land registery ?

    Can't be sure but..... there seems to be a lot of information missing.  WHO told you that you would need a DOV?  WHY did they tell you that?  What has your conveyancer said about it?

    All very good questions. But, the OP wants to be told that he/she did nothing wrong when buying the property in the first place, and it's all a terrible injustice. Constructive advice about how to avoid traps like this in future is not welcome.
