Hot Tub Warranty

Hi All
I very rarely post anything on any sites and just generally crack on with things but this has got my back up a bit and im looking for some advice.
I bought a Hot Tub from a local company in July last year and it has developed a very minor fault but a fault non the less. I have called the company and they have said that my warranty is a parts only warranty and I would need to pay for the labour. I explained that it was only 7 months old but it apparently that doesn't matter. I can't believe that I wouldn't be covered for anything mechanical or electrical within the first year. I have since read the contract and it does state in there about it being parts only but I am a bit shocked that this is the case.
Any advice god be greatly appreciated

They can put any terms they want in a warranty. Why not exercise your consumer rights?0

So that's what I wanted to do but im not sure if that is the correct procedure for me to pay the labour and they cover the cost of the material, is there a section on the consumer right act where it clearly states they are not allowed to do this?

A warranty is in addition to your consumer rights.0

For your statutory rights, there's no expectation that you need to pay for labour (or materials) - it's up to the retailer to get it fixed (or replaced, or refunded).
