Travel Insurance to Australia

Hello, could anyone recommend travel insurance to travel to Australia please?  I need to travel there due to a family bereavement and to execute a will.

All the companies I've looked at say they will not cover you if you travel against FCO advice.

Thanks I did see them but they only go up to age 59.  I need over 60.

Have you been granted exemption to enter Australia?  There are very tight restrictions at the moment - especially from the UK.  Link from the Australian Government website travel-restrictions

Have you tried Age UK?

I know it makes you feel 100 but they are brokers and do a good job. They have a name to uphold. And they don't mess about with sales patter or pressuring.

Its worth ringing around some of the worthy ones. Ring don't email. if you ring you can explain and if you get trainee reading from a scrip you can ask to talk to their manager. Emails can be ignored or fobbed off.

Have your documentation and all dates to hand because it's likely to be more complicated at the moment.
