TSB have launched a Spend & Save Plus Account.
It costs £3 per month and for that all you get is £100 interest free overdraft and no charges for using your card abroad.  You can get £5 cashback if you use your debit card 30 times each month, but when you take off the £3 fee you're only getting £2.

    I think it's 30 times a month not 3 times?
(otherwise I might consider it, but not for 30 times)

Apologies for the typo.  I've corrected it now.

No, it's a right load of rubbish.  I don't think many people will go to the trouble of using their card 30 times a month just for £2.

Better off getting a cashback credit card like Amex Platinum or Barclaycard Rewards. You'll earn more than £2 a month using those.

    I use my Co-op one 60 times a month for £3
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

I'm struggling to see how this is much different from the Spend and Save non-plus version?!

It's more "Spend and Save Plus a fee".

So do I. I have it automated (via Amazon Gift Card top ups). I now consider myself as professional debit card transaction creator ;-)

You both have much more dedication than I can muster.
