It just seems to work better for me, I don't know if it's the correct method, but I do seem to hit the target more often. It's still nowhere near as good as last year, but I guess we are all trying to find work-around to get what we want when we want it. 

I really don't know if there is one, but MSE could do worse than put on some info-tutorial on how to do anything more than basic text usage. 

The Quote function too is pants!  

The edit mode is pants too, I'm using Firefox 86 (64-bit) and it doesn't respond correctly to standard keyboard shortcuts, especially standard Windows ones: for example, Ctrl + Left Arrow puts my cursor to the start of the line when it should move the cursor to the start of the previous word.

I think I reported in the Site Feedback section, but I see nothing has changed as of yet, and I think it should be a higher priority for MSE Towers as this is a basic usability fail in their "new" forum software.
