Strange question.
As you buy the item, and the credit co pay the funds to the retailer. As above. You are responsible for settling the debt.

Or have we misunderstood the question & you are talking about rights if something goes wrong?

S75 makes it clear the seller and card provider are jointly liable in cases where S75 applies.
Retailer should always be first port of call, then card provider who will expect you (even if the act makes them jointly liable) to try and resolve the issue with the retailer first, they are more likely to be able to fix the problem e.g. replacement goods or a repair or whatever, before card provider would willingly give you a refund from their own funds.

Making sure the retailer is paid? You
That the goods are serviceable quality? Merchant and CC Issuer if within the scope of S75
That you don't get robbed on your way home? You
That the bill is paid on time? You
That little Timmy likes their present? You
