    I DID IT!  :)

£14 Prolific cash out this morning in addition to my usual £1 all sent to CC7 which takes me to £6994 - whooooop! Feels good to see a 6 rather than a 7, but I know there's still a long way to go...

No more in terms of updates, but I wanted to share the news of the £7k breakthrough :)

    🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉

I'm so inspired by your debt free journey and this is a massive achievement! You'll be breaking into the 5s before you know it.

Those surveys make all the difference don't they? Im still on the waiting list for Prolific, but I've managed a couple of paid surveys with Panelbase, so just inching towards my first pay out. They'll be PADded too, I've been seeing how much it's helped everyone. Well done again xx

  • Thank you @Keedie :)

Today is going to be hotter than yesterday, which doesn't even seem possible. Our neighbour's garden bar thermometer clocked 38.5 yesterday late afternoon... it was stifling! If I wasn't working today, I would take myself to the cinema where it's wonderfully air conditioned and I would watch films aaalllll day lol

So, today's PAD was £1 to CC7, I have checked Prolific this morning but not enough for a cash out yet, will check again later.  Today will be a NSD for me, not going anywhere and I have a client meeting for most of the day again so I will be busy.  Need to try and keep the dog cool but he hates being wet - any ideas folks?

I had forgotten I had set my account to do round ups and send the extra to the sealed pot, so I can colour another square in this morning - yay!

Anyway, that's pretty much all I can muster this morning given it's so warm.  Stay safe guys!

It’s horrendously warm here too LMD. Had dentist at 9am so booked the whole day off. Generally I hardly sweat but the seat needed a good wipe down after I got up…That’s possibly too much information!
I was going to ask you about your PADding. Do you put the money aside somewhere and then make a bulk payment, or do you literally pay off a couple of pounds here and there? Thinking about it I probably do a lot of PADding myself without realising it. Got save the change set up on all my current accounts and often pay the odd fiver or so to the outstanding balance transfers.

I am not venturing out today so that I can get away with wearing as little as possible! :D

In terms of PADding, I make the actual payment to the card, my statements are quite lengthy now but at least they are online and not coming through the post! If I popped it away to pay in bulk it would be too tempting to 'borrow' it back and spend it.  Whether you PAD daily or infrequently you would always be welcome on the payment a day thread :)

  • Re cooling the dog, how about washing a duvet cover (or just dumping it in a bucket and then hanging over a clothes airer or table to create a cool area. One of my cats loved sleeping under the airer V x
