Howdens Kitchens pricing

Has anyone recently had a quote from Howdens for a kitchen, and willing to share their quotes please?
Or does anything be know which kitchen is the cheaper, mid range and most expensive options?
we have quite a big galley kitchen about 6m x 3m, and just wanted to know what price we would be looking at, as there’s never any pricing anywhere.

  • No two kitchens are the same; it may be better to get the plan matched with a like-for-like quote from another supplier.

If you have a copy of the Howdens catalogue, they start with the lowest to highest priced in any given style.

I don't have the sizes to hand, but I have just paid £11700 for kitchen and utility room. Neff appliances in the kitchen. They are both large rooms. Not the cheapest doors. I am pleased with the quality of the units. Howdens wouldn't have been my first choice as I like the interiors to match the exteriors, but due to Covid I couldn't get a kitchen company for months, and I had been without one since November. I have to say the lack of pricing available to the public is a pain. No complaints though, and if any part is missing or you have a change of mind about something the parts are usually available off the shelf.
Previous to this I had  quotes for fitted price  of  £20000 and £22000 for kitchen only, and £16000 supply only for kitchen and utility.
  • Hi, I had posted recently about my experience with Howdens.. pricewise I was able to get Wren to beat them as well and I found t he overall quality of the item quite poor.. I wanted to go with DIY but unfortunately due to covid and being unable to see the units and feel them I had to opt out of it.

Did you not order samples? Mine have arrived and I'm happy with the quality, just not wild about the colours. May have to go bespoke.

yes I have ordered door samples but still waiting for them.. I'm sure DIY quality would be better than Howdens.. but a bit skeptical do one without seeing full units and design being done on my own.. might go with them for my utility room to save costs.

They have video appointments available for March, I booked one just last night.

ETA: I would have definitely taken a trip to Pontefract if it weren't for the pandemic. Have no concerns about the quality though.

We went on a road trip to Pontefract before this covid kicked off, great showroom, competitive pricing, seemed good quality, tasty cakes, but they didn’t have any true handleless kitchens, they were J pull.  Went with local kitchen firm in the end as Howdens were incredibly slow to quote and didn’t do 500 depth carcasses.

I'm after Shaker rather than modern - hate anything gloss. But I dislike missed opportunities, and I consider the cake to be one such.
