Google Max nest hub...mind of its own

Had it just over a week...was ok for a  few days  but  now randomly plays you tube videos or music...was using it for home security camera....the only thing I've tried is turning it off for a while no use....really disappointed with it

Normally means you've left the microphone on.  May be a physical switch.

I've got a Nest I was given for nothing and it spontaneously decided one day to start behaving like that.  Microphone was on.  Turned it off.  Problem solved.

Yea but on nest max  you turn microphone off   camera goes off with it,  did  a factory reset    , went through set up again  was going ok  ...connected with wifi....but when i tried to set up camera.....google had a problem communicating and set up stalled....a 200 quid brick

So send it back where you bought it if you've only had it a week.  Distance Selling Regulations or whatever they're calling it this week.
