Joint mortgage & Default

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone could help me out.
Basically my partner and I are applying for a joint mortgage both have good incomes & are planning to put down a large deposit.
Last year I got a default from one of my credit cards as the letters were going to my old home address and I never noticed it. Nothing I can do about it now. It wasn’t a massive payment back, was £160 and is all paid off now. I’m just dreading going to apply for this joint mortgage and this setting us back. I’ve been assured by a few people that I will be ok but I just wanted to get some feedback if anyone has been on the same boat?
Thanks!

A single, satisfied, default is unlikely to be a major issue, if you search this forum you will probably find plenty of people who do it - by that I mean that many people join the forum, post once or twice and disappear, so asking anyone currently on the forum may not get many results but there probably will be. A good deposit and otherwise excellent credit history should be fine, but speak to your mortgage advisor if you are concerned.0
