How to get rid of this goddamn mold once and for all
I take the view that it's best to keep as much heat indoors as possible overnight, and so keep the building closed tight. Then in the early morning, open all the windows just for say 10 to 20 mins, depending on the breeze, to change the air.
It might be worth asking your landlord to install a constant trickle extractor fan. Keep your heating on all the time. If you turn the water temperature down in the system so the radiators are comfortably warm rather than piping hot they will give a more constant temperature which will start to warm the fabric of the house.
We had a constant corner of our bedroom that kept moulding up this winter. When it was warm enough to keep windows open to let paint dry, I cleaned the wall with bleach. Scrapped down the paint and painted on paint with anti mould and mildew additive. No mould since! (You can only get white and magnolia mainly)
But since you are renting maybe ask the landlord if he’s willing to repaint the walls with this stuff. Or if you are feeling brave and have time ask if you can repaint the walls and ask him to pay for paint and supplies.
