Probate Registry Not Issuing Probate

Does anyone know how I complain to the Probate Registry Office.
I'm beneficiary in my Aunt's will and she died in April 2020. It should be very simple. There is a valid will in place, no squabbling family and no property. All the paperwork and confirmation that the IHT was paid was received by the Probate Office in August. Nearly 7 months on from that date, they still haven't issued the Grant of Probate. The executors (Co-op Solicitors) tell me they are chasing regularly and the Probate Office assure them there is no issue with the paperwork, but yet we are totally stuck with nothing happening. Surely someone, somewhere isn't doing their job and this situation can't be allowed to go on indefinitely. We have no answers as to why it's taking so long or when we can finally expect it to be resolved. I can't find a complaints procedure - only how to complain against a court case.
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

I’m currently on the phone holding still - for ages! - to try to get an update. Application made August.
I asked about complaining last time I got to speak to someone and they basically said I could do that through them but it would make absolutely no difference to the speed as it is a different arm of the organisation.
I feel your frustration!1 -

In these circumstances the fact that the Grant has not yet been issued is quite extraordinary.
It is up to the executors of the will to make a formal complaint.
