Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions about where I can sell handmade jewellery in the Cardiff area? I'm thinking craft fairs?

Thanks,

Nikki. x

    hi Nikki

not sure about craft fairs at the moment but you may want to contact local primary schools and ask if you can have a stall/table at their christmas fayres and donate a percentage of your profits to them?

good way to promote your stuff (print out leaflets with your details on so people can contact you)

    Good luck

At this time of year there is usually a big one at the Hays, but with the redevelopment it is now at one of the side streets off Queens street.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

Don't know about regular places but the university student unions (Cardiff and Glamorgan) used to have great sales of just this sort of stuff. Might be worth a phone call to see if they still run them and if you can get a pitch there.

  • The people who run the craft stalls in the Hayes and other events throughout the year in different locations in South Wales are called CraftFolk. I used to do their fairs a few years ago. They do ones in the Bay, Caerphilly Big Cheese Festival, Cowbridge Food Festival, etc. I think they have a website or they are in the phonebook.
