Morning all.
dumpling, I want to give you the biggest hug. I pray that your sister finds that it hasn't spread and that she has a future. Lots of love to all your family.
Happy Birthday to Ruby's DH and Snoozer's DD.
Gers, photograph albums are priceless treasures. I wonder if in future years people will be flicking through their phones saying, " Thats my old school friend and thats my Mum and Dad at my 21st birthday party". It's not the same somehow.
Cold but bright here today and am thinking of beginning a good blitz on the house. Long overdue.
I think the soup maker will be doing its stuff today. The bottom of the fridge needs a bit of a clear out.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Hi all, time has run away from me again, lots of small jobs ticked off my mega list including stock check of fridges etc and order updated for delivery tomorrow. OH has been busy booking some holidays in the touring caravan, limited to 2 hours travelling time, working on the principal if Ddog is still alive, but took a turn for the worse we could get back to our trusted vets in that time scale. DBIL is not great, but Macmillan and practice nurses on the scene with advice and help. Dsis is organising bed downstairs for him, their stairs are of the mountain goat type and she does not feel safe getting him up and down any more.
Great time yesterday working in the garden with OH while sun out, high winds today, lurking indoors.
Dumpling I am so sorry to read about your dear sister, hoping that it has not spread. Birthday greeting to those as necessary. Hugs and spoons to all needing some.

Hi All
Just popping in to say how sorry I was to hear Dumplings Dsis news and Maddie DBIL
Quick break away from the laptop
Have a seminar at 2 about preparing for retirement should be interesting especially as DH has plans for yet another new career for me
Had a day off yesterday and felt a bit cba so I binged watched "its a sin" which was very sad in places but I felt it was a true depiction of the time
Its funny that to me the 1980s seem like 5 minutes ago and then my youngsters at work come out with the immortal line "I wasn't born then " hey ho
The sun is out but very windy here
Enjoy your afternoon folks

Dumpling - terrible news but hope treatment can be offered.
Walked to PO to collect a parcel - so sad to see the shut shops - roll on the day when they can open again. I have missed a browse in a charity shop - or 2.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
