    Define 'good'.
Also define "white light".  Is that daylight white, warm white, somewhere in the middle?
I recently bought both Philips and Meridian Lightbulbs from Toolstation in a variety of sizes, and I'm very happy with the light they produce.  The Philips were brighter versions at 13W throwing out 1500W, and do a very good job of being the "big light" in the middle of a room that you turn on when you want to be able to see what you're doing!
