Deciding on wall tiles

I'd just like to get some opinions on what I'm considering for my kitchen. First up I have to say I loathe the colour grey that so many people have gone potty over during the past couple of years or so & neither do I like black. I guess I'd say that my colour choices are not fashionable as I prefer warm colours so it's quite difficult finding something that I really like as choice seems to be limited.

Last  year I had my bathroom, wc & kitchen retiled & whilst the guy made a good job of both bathroom & wc, he has done a very poor job in the kitchen (which I chose mosaic for). The mosaics are quite bumpy & uneven in places & I don't think I can live with it much longer. Anyway, as I'm finding it difficult to find a tile that I'd really like to go for, I'm contemplating going for the same tiles that I chose to have in the bathroom & wc, which are a metro bevelled brick in a marbled creamy yellow that I really do like, but wondering if it's really odd to go for the same tiles in each of the 3 rooms? I know people do this with white tiles & nobody finds that odd. It would be nice to have some views on this.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Grey is the new beige (or magnolia), and I hate beige with a passion. Black is OK in the right place, but not for a whole room.
In my kitchen, I went for a pale yellow (chrome yellow, light) polished Venetian plaster on the walls, and white with a hint of blue on the ceiling. Being a north facing room, it feels much more spacious being a light colour - Also got rid of the wall units which makes it look a lot bigger.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

Your floors, your choice. I wanted the same tile in both my bathrooms and was told not to, it would look like I'd got hold of a job lot - and these were not cheap tiles. Ultimately good enough is good enough and everything dates to a degree, so flexibility is they key.

Non-essential retail will be open from 12th April if everything goes to plan :)

It's your home you do what makes you feel happy with it.
If a friend thinks it's weird so what? That's their problem
If you ever sell someone will tear out what you've done and replace it regardless of how tasteful it is.
I want a cream worktop. Try finding that with the granite and wood finish that seems the only choice.
I get the feeling though that you are settling for something you're not entirely happy with. Could be wrong.

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
