Expanding foam, if left to cure without being prodded, has the texture of a rigid sponge. Has a little bit of give to it along with a fairly hard skin. It will peel off most smooth surfaces and leave a little bit of residue, but that is easily scrubbed off. I wouldn't worry about getting on pipes (gas or water). Just don't get it on your clothes.ordnancesurvey84 said: I'm a little nervous about the expanding foam (I've never used it before, so I'm not quite sure what its consistency is once it's set) - because it may well adhere to gas pipes and other important structures running behind it. Is that a reasonable concern?
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
