Just purchased a Logitech C270 webcam. I have installed it from the LG site (no installation CD). I can see my own picture on the monitor and when my wife calls me I can see her image as well The sound quality is fine, but my wife cannot see any image of me. She is calling me via IMO. We have to make Zoom calls later this week, so I need it sorted out.
Any ideas please?

asduming windows 10 - have you allowed apps to access your webcam? is there a 'turn off video' button on the app you are using?

Allow apps to access your camera is switched on, but Desktop app web viewer is switched off.

IMO is a desktop app if I remember rightly so you will need to switch it on for desktop apps for it to work.

Thanks for the replies. I did a bit of investigating and found that if I use the Logitech App, the webcam doesn't work properly. However, when I downloaded the Zoom App it did, the same with IMO.
Yesterday we tried it again. My wife contacted me on the desktop from her smartphone and although we could see each other, there was no audio, despite audio being selected.
I would also like to change the background for Zoom meetings, but I cannot find the "preferences" tab.

Can I just ask if I'm right in thinking you are opening the Logitech Webcam app when you are trying to use the webcam with Zoom or IMO?

If so, then it will not work - only one app can have access to the webcam so make sure you don't open then Logitech app before using IMO or Zoom.

    Nobody's mentioned a Preferences tab?

Anyway you want to go into Settings -> Background and Filters.
