MS Office 2019 Home & Student -- as cheap as possible?!

I want to buy the above version of MS Office, but it's £120! :-o  I only want it to brush up on my Word and Excel skills, as I'm not working at the moment.  :-(
I've seen various sites where you can buy "keys" for a fair bit less.  But are they legit?  Can anyone recommend somewhere safe to get Office 2019 for a sensible price?
Thank you

The keys you can buy online are generally from grey market sellers, so they although they normally work fine, they potentially could get deactivated in the future if they were originally obtained in a dodgy way by the seller. I think it is worth the risk though.

You may also be able to do what you need to do via the free browser version of Excel/Word
  • I bought my key for Office Professional Plus 2019 from eBay for about £6.  I just looked for a seller with lots of positive feedback.  It's worked flawlessly for well over a year.  TBH, if I had any issues with it in the future I would just buy another key for similar money.

Bought a Pro 2019 from Ebay for 3 quid a few weeks back, working fine.
All the Ebay sellers you'll see will be marked as 'New' as Ebay close them down within hours of them opening up as they don't like key sellers. . .
  • A slightly safer source of purchase may be Groupon.
Little bit more expensive (£17.99), but still good value.
Here's the link if you are interested.

I paid £4 ish last year for 2019 from ebay. It was perfectly safe as you downloaded from Microsoft and used the activation key (received in minutes via email). AFAIK it's a one time activation key.

  • I've been buying my licence keys from these guys for years, not had any issues:

Because it isn't MS Word or MS Excel which are the programmes the OP wants to brush up on.

Presumably because the OP said they wanted to brush up on their Word and Excel skills.. :)
