Rbs Debit Card Payment Fri Evening.

Not sure when  this one off Debit Card deposit is due to Authorise today.
Fri eve I made a Debit Card payment from rbs card to HL Account.
What time does this Authorise for me to use via my HL account today.
I understand No debits leave rbs over weekend, though no sign of this being available via HL this morning.

Funds deposited into HL by debit card are available for investment immediately. As it happens, I deposited some yesterday and queued the trade instantly. The debit on my Santander current account shows as pending and probably won't clear for another day or two.

If your deposit doesn't show, I would call HL to ask what's up. Are you sure your deposit was not rejected?

Payments are authorised when you enter the details.
As to when they fully debit your current account, is down to when HL? fully take the funds. So for something from friday that can be later on Monday or Tuesday.

    Thanks mser's
I called h.l. Yesterday and my payment is showing though not 'Auth'
I guess my question is, any idea from what time are h.l. Going to authorise my transaction.

This is very weird. If you make a debit card deposit into an HL SIPP, your deposited money is available for investment immediately - see image below. I made a deposit yesterday and immediately queued a trade, which got executed first thing this morning. As of now, the money has not left my Santander current account.

It doesn't say the same for a GIA or HL Active Savings account. I don't know what their policy is for S&S ISA deposits as I don't have an S&S ISA with HL. Into what kind of an account did you make your deposit?

I place deposit in Share account rather that S+S Isa, meaning I have 100 min split between 2 accounts.

What shows on your RBS account? As the auth or debit will be there.

    Mser's;
Transaction became available. Not sure of pre lunch 12 or after.
Only disappointment is I'm placing a Stocks deal 'Blind' as it won't go ahead until Markets open tomorrow.
And I forgot to use Stop Loss option, though I can cancel and re bid if it's  important.
I haven't checked rbs today, only I HL were as helpful as possible when I called Sat'
    thanks

I think you title is misleading as you are talking about a RBS debit card payment on Friday. The funds are available once the debit has been approved by RBS to the company you used.
In reality you should be asking how long does HL? take to credit payments to my account.
