I think I can get some sort of insurance called indemnity policy and secure the loan despite all the adversity. The ultimate question really is then resell. In 5 years time how many of potential buyers could be facing mortgage procurement difficulty (even though it seems made up, given the tiny yearly charge) with this kind of set up: 10%, 50%, 80%? .

I also now know with a degree of certainty that the management company that is charging the yearly service charge is owned by the owners of properties, so I would get some share of it. Does that change the equation?0
