Asset Academy, UK

Dear all,

I attended a 3 day training with Asset Academy UK after which they are asking us to invest 7k for further courses. I will like to know if they are a legitimate organisation as I don't want to be scammed of my money.
Have anyone dealt with them?

They appear to be an organisation with a permanent address and plenty of positive reviews, but however good they are, they won't be able to make dull or otherwise unsuited students into property tycoons, any more than teaching in any educational context may influence innate IQ or completely mitigate unhelpful personality traits.
There's nothing AA could teach you which is 'secret' knowledge; it's all out there somewhere and the best they might do is draw it together and present it is a digestible way. At £7k I'd expect some very particular advice, not just generalities applicable in most situations. This kind of mentoring in investment is available via the internet at much more affordable prices and on a month by month basis, so there is no huge commitment if the source fails to deliver. Of course, an internet mentor has lower overheads.
Personally, I'm happy to do my own research and there's never been a time when information has been so freely available. If I wanted personal assistance with investment, I could get it for well under £50 a month, so I wouldn't be forking out thousands in one go for a pig-in-a -poke!  There have been 'knowledge' schemes like this before, such as Inside Track and many people thought they weren't that great, so tread warily.

I was immediately suspicious as to how a brand new company set up with £1000 in October 2019 was able to train 38,000+ students in the few months before most of the world went into lockdown...
A little big of digging suggests they appear to be a re-brand of a company (Legacy Education Alliance International Ltd 04311733) that went into administration in November 2019.
The general consensus on Property Tribes seems to be to avoid like the plague!
Every generation blames the one before...

Their current incarnation was incorporated in October 2019 - so no accounts filed yet. Ultimately owned by this guy, who appears to be a tax adviser rather than a property (or education) specialist. They appear to have acquired the brand name formerly used by Tigrent, who didn't exactly get glowing reviews.

What is it that they claim to be offering you for your "investment" of that money?

And just out of interest what did you pay for the 3 day course /what did you learn about?

HMO isn't a strategy. It's a type of property. House in Multiple Occupation. Lots of different people living in their own rooms, sharing living room/kitchen.
BTE is meaningless. I suspect you mean BtL. Buy to Let.

Three days, and that's all you got out of it?

I'll send you an invoice for a bargain two grand for this post.

I'm sure they will, but without wishing to be rude, that doesn't mean you will learn anything especially valuable, or somehow change your personality. Have you any idea of the personal qualities needed to be a landlord, especially of a HMO? I would be inclined to find out exactly what's involved, including the relevant laws, before parting with good money. That info is free. If you cannot find it yourself, you're probably not cut out to be a landlord or property investor.
There are many ways to invest, some of them less risky than becoming a landlord. As I've said, it's possible to get specific and  personalised investment advice relatively cheaply without risking large funds until a person is sure it's something definitely worth their time and interest.

I can't think of any circumstances in which I'd do business with this mob (carefully chosen word)

Nor would I advise anyone to do anything with them but walk away, briskly.

I can forsee the future.  For this organisation..

Surely you are not going to lay out seven grand for information you can buy in a ten quid book?

surely no-one would actually seriously consider that.

    surely.
