Selling my home.

We were married.
The biggest impact is on her. She lives with her dad in a very small bedroom hoise with her fella and 3 children, she needs the sale to get social housing but her argument is I need money to do the house up and buy furniture etc.
I'm not sure why that's upto me to sort by taking her debt, surely as a parent it's your job to provide as I have done.
She ended the marriage for her new fella and moved into her dad's leaving me with the girls, she then took them back and moved into the house. She racked up debts and ended in an IVA and back at her Dad's again.0 -
Hi, if mortgage is getting paid itself, then why you have to blink first. If you can afford the mortgage payments, get rid of tenants and move in. Else just keep it like this and she will eventually give up as she cant stay at her dads forever0

I would agree with the last post if there were not children involved, if it was just a couple splitting and she tried this the OP should just sit it out and let her sort out her own debt, them maybe sell the house down the line at some point, but this situation is more complex it seems?0
