How large are the leaks?Tanking slurry might work, but I suspect it's quite a brittle coating (mortar-based) so could easily crack again with any flexing.I think I'd be inclined to go for a fibrous brush-on coating like Cromapol (there are other makes, pretty much identical). The fibres allow it to bridge cracks and small gaps, and it should remain suitably flexible. But do some research - read what it's suitable for. Read reviews, etc.(And a lighter colour won't get as hot. Perhaps grey or even white is best?)1

yes i would go for a cromapol type coating as jeepers- creepers said. I put some on a old garage roof last year it is a pain to put on. but it stopped the leaks no problem. make sure you wear gloves as its pretty messy stuff to get off your skin
