Car Insurance

I've read insurance policies goes against the car not the person. If I have to declare an accident does an accident go againt the car or the driver?
My car is due for renewal, my car got hit by my neighbour, I was in the house it was a no fault claim, she admitted it and all costs were taken from her. My husband drives antother car under another seperate policy, he had an accident in that car.
He is a named driver on my car so my question is -
At the 'Accident' section does he have to say yes even though it was a different car?
If car insurance is against the car not the driver then surely he should say no as he has not had an accident in my car.

The incidents are likely to be on insurance databases so better to declare them now than have the insurance cancelled or a claim rejected.0 -
You have to answer each question truthfully, so have a look at any question carefully.0
