If you boyfriend is now living with you then you need to inform all the benefits agencies you deal with. You are now a couple and all of your means tested benefits will have to be recalculated on the basis of your joint circumstances.

What benefits do you and he receive?

You need to declare it to the council tax as you are no longer entitled to single person discount.

does your tenancy agreement allow this? if not the landlord would be able to evict you.

you must notify the landlord (council?). they will either require him to be added to the tenancy or ask you both to move out - depends on what the tenancy agreement says.

It would be easier to offer relevant advice if you told us what benefits either of you are claiming. As advised in the first reply if you are now a couple you need to advise the relevant authorities and your means tested benefits need to be recalculated.
