Until you have exchanged everything is still up for negotiation.2

You can ask for them to be removed. Quickest easiest way is via the estate agent, then get the solicitors to remove the items (once it's agreed) from the F&F form. But if the seller is insistant, then advertise them on Freecycle and someone will collect or just make a trip to the tip.Councils will collect (for a small fee), or in some areas, if you leave stuff outside overnight, it will be gone by morning!1

As none of the items are fittings or fixtures, you can request that those items are removed. Make sure your Solicitor gets the Vendor to agree to this in writing. Then if the Vendor leaves the items in the house once the sales transaction completes, you can charge her for removal and disposal of her manky items. All the best.2

Some people just want to leave their manky stuff because they're lazy and don't want to pay to get rid of rubbish.0

How could you possibly know what the vendor has filled in on their F&F form?Mildreds_Earrings said:As none of the items are fittings or fixtures, you can request that those items are removed. They can leave anything they wish if the specify it in the contract, at this stage everything is still up for negotiation.1 -
As others say, you can negotiate with the seller to have the seller remove those items.
If the seller refuses, I guess you need to get a quote for a rubbish removal company to take them away. If you feel really strongly, you could threaten to reduce your offer by the amount of the rubbish removal quote - but only it's likely to be £100 or £200.
If you manage to negotiate any changes with the seller, make sure they update the fixtures and fittings list via the solicitors.

It’s really annoying but vendors do that a lot, the items you want they will take the ones you don’t want they will leave. Best tell solicitors that you want those items to be taken away. The honest truth is they can still leave all sorts of rubbish even after that and the best is not to dwell on it budget for some clearing out and enjoy your house! I was left with a washing machine which was all mouldy and dirty! My renovation took time I forgot to order a washing machine. When I then ordered there were issues getting new one and as I needed to do laundry urgently I scrubbed the grubby washing machine, bleached it, did several hot cycles and went on to use it! Two years on I am still using the said washing machine! I cancelled the new washing machine purchase and will use the old machine until it breaks down. I keep it clean and no mould at all. All I am saying sometimes you feel angry at what vendors do but just know that in the grand scheme of things focus on the house!Good luck.Initial mortgage bal £487.5k, current £238k, target £122k (quarter way!)
