I normally have AA parts and garage for my cars. Is it worth carrying on with this if I buy a 2018 kia picanto with kia warranty. Thanks in advance for advice

The manufacturers warrant won't expire until 2025.0

If you are using a 3rd party garage. You will need a full itemised invoice listing Kia parts used etc. If you want any chance or the warranty to be intact for anything related to services.
Add in you will not get any software updates or service actions done & the annual bodywork check, so no bodywork cover.

AdrianC i don't understand what you mean by up or down on these insurance policies? If its payments Ive paid less each year my negotiation.0

What Adrian meant was, over the years, have the insurance premiums been more or less than simply paying for repair when needed.1

Its been different with each car..one car in one year had to have gearbox work, new battery, two anti polution system problems worked on- cant remember exactly what they were called.. So it was well worth having the parts and garage. THen some cars, some years no work needed. Ive always bought older cars, so though parts and garage was needed, If I buy the kia this will be the first car ive bought under 5 years old.0

I think you've answered your own question, then.
You're broadly level over the years, and you like the comfort of knowing it's there.
So buy it.0 -
if you want to have it serviced at a non franchise garage, you can do that. but you must use genuine kia parts other wise you may invalidate the warranty. if in any doubt have it done by kia, and pay the extra money.0

Better option just buy a 3 year service pack direct from Kia. £369.00 for your next 3 services. Needed either 12 months or 10K miles.Life in the slow lane0 -
