Redress And CCJ

I have recently been successful with a redress claim against uncle buck who had issued a CCJ against me through moriaty law and the account has been cleared and they say they will amend my credit file. I complained about the CCJ to the administrator for uncle buck Harrisons and they agreed to waive the CCJ due to the redress and have the email as proof, but when I have complained to moriaty law they basically said its nothing to do with them and take it up with the client which I have but can't get a reply now. Can anyone tell me where I stand on having the CCJ removed as I have it in black and white that they will waive it. That's the only mark on my credit file and it's stopping me from acquiring a mortgage.

Presumably, Moriarty Law was acting on behalf of their client, and it will need to be the client that tells them to agree to the consent order.  I'd be pushing the administrators to instruct Mortiaty Law to do this.

You can`t just wave a CCJ.

You have to apply either for a set aside, or a set aside with consent.
Its the latter that would be appropriate in your case, but you must agree this with the client first, you then start the process using the correct court form, which is N-244.

Set aside by consent costs £100 as a pose to £255.00 for a full set aside hearing.
