Boots - digital camera

I bought one of those cheap Minolta cameras from Boots. On the ad it said it included a case. When it arrived without one I emailed them about it and it said that "free gifts" were subject to availability and they hadn't got any left and would not be getting any more.

I emailed and told them that according to the ad it was an "included accessory" No reply.

Then the following day these cameras came bacck in stock again with the camera case as a free accessory. So they did have more come in stock. I emailed them about this. No reply.

What do people suggest. I know it was a good offer but the point is that they did not supply what was stated; and then they appear to have misled me by saying that they would not be getting any more stock....

i would take it back for a refund then buy one with a case, just for a quiet life like. On the other hand, you could kick up a stink. Depends how much time you have spare and whether you've got the energy for a fight.

Not possible - this was the half price online offer as per one of the boards here...

You know Tony, i got one of the first batch of Z10's and thought it included a case, but as the box was pretty tightly packed and couldnt fit one in, put it down to my mistake.....
I got a proper Minolta one off Ebay for £8 plus postage, the seller is goodluckreturn .
Its very good.

I have the printout of the original order and it said it included the case... Let's see what they come up with and whether Boots will bother to return my email - if not I am going to ask them for £10 which seems the going price on Ebay.
