Maths Whizz Needed! - insurance claim & wind speed

Re the neighbours - weirdly they came running around when it happened. Got understandably grumpy when it took three weeks to fix the roof damage (as I just couldn't get anyone to quote) but haven't asked for our insurance details. The car was a banger so it maybe they have decided its not worth it.Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0

I will get an anemometer to measure the wind speed at a particular time and using the wind speed measured at the weather station at the same day (or time) to work out the alpha. Then use the alpha to work out what your wind speed will be at the time the incident happened. If this is more than or close to 55 MPH, you should go back to the insurer with your calculation and ask them to show their own proof the speed is less than 55 MPH.0

It's the roof under guarantee? If so you could claim on that and your neighbor on their commercial insurance.0
