Hi everyone. Thank you for your replies and views, it's appreciated. I'm not entirely sure why there was an assumption that I am male.
I fund it myself, work don't run a scheme but do provide me with a good sick pay deal which, given I don't have income protection (I save for a rainy day), I would hope private healthcare was quick enough to get me sorted and I could use savings thereafter if required.
I'm concerned about the repercussions of the pandemic and the inevitable lengthy waiting lists, although am also concerned about the upcoming budget and squeeze on finances. I can afford it and perhaps I should keep it for now. I'm finding any financial decisions at the moment an enormous mental drain as do worry about money even when I save 40% of my take home salary. I think I just panic about the future.

As a male poster with a female avatar I have had the same happen in reverse... but I brought that on myself!• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.0 -
