i8change mentioned CG Absolute Returns Fund. Good call! Thing is, I did a side-by-side comparison of performance and risk and the results are pretty close to Vanguard's 20% Equity fund. What bugs me with Vanguard is, I cannot find in their documents whether they have interest rate derivatives against those bonds. Would be interested to see what their interest rate sensitivity is.As for properties and risk, well, just have a look at UK REITs, trading at a healthy 20+% discount to NAV and that's a portfolio and not a single property which has not been diversified.0
