    Love the idea of a list of cheap holiday activities, you are so right about kids food out and about, it’s almost impossible to find something half decent.

    Some of the things I've seen on childrens menus I wouldn't feed to a child I really disliked let alone a family member.  Although one I know does look like that is all she is fed on.

    I have asked Red to do the budgeting this month 😳 so I may have less to discuss on here. I think if he at least sometimes has a turn to do it, it will make him feel more empowered/less frustrated and also a bit more aware of where our money goes. I won’t interfere with what he does so savings may be a little lower this month… he is aware of our savings goals and I gave him the sheet I use with the bills & amounts and usual budget categories so he doesn’t forget about stuff. 
    I hope all is going well with Red doing the budgeting this month.

    - When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £227,385
    - OPs to mortgage = £12,881 Estd. interest saved = £6,203 to date
    c. 16 months reduction in term
    Fixed rate 3.85% ends October 2030
